When sailing, it is the grinder's job to turn wind into propulsion by lifting the sails as quickly as possible. Grinders do the debilitating work on board and are undoubtedly high-performance athletes. With maximum physical strength and endurance, the grinders hoist the sails by hurling the winches. Sailors do this today by performing a classic rotary motion.
The WaterGrinder is very easy to use and still offers many training options. The elegant drop shape of the wooden frame is a real eye-catcher in any living room or studio. The paddle of the WaterGrinder is ergonomically shaped and provides resistance in the water tank. The water resistance is self-determined; this means that it adjusts precisely to the use of force with each individual movement: the more the user swings, the larger the resistance.

The WaterGrinder monitor offers a wide range of training options. Users can choose between the following programs: 

Training on time / distance: 
Set a time or distance that you want to control and focus solely on achieving this goal during your training.


Versatile Workout: 
Let yourself be confronted with many different and unforeseen training challenges, as if a real coach would recommend you by your side. Determine the focus of your training session and you will get a fully differentiated workout with a wide range of exercises. 

Competition training: 
In competition mode you have to compete against a virtual or real opponent where you get your predetermined number of sails so fast may have to hoist. This training is all about winning or losing, and guaranteeing a high-intensity training session. Depending on the program you get the following parameters: rotation speed, heart rate, time, distance, performance (shown in watts) or calories per hour.
